Penumbra Self-Harm Support Services – Leaflet attached

Penumbra have two Self-harm Support Services in South Ayrshire; one for schools, and one for the Health and Social Care Partnership service. The HSCP strand supports young people aged 12 -18 years who are or have been experiencing self-harming behaviours, and/or distress.

Anyone working in HSCP, parents, and young people themselves can refer to this service should they need support to identify triggers and reduce self-harm. Penumbra can also support services who may need advice and guidance to manage self-harm.

Penumbra are organising Self-harm Awareness Training dates which will be free to all HSCP staff/services. If you would like to know more about the service and/or Self-harm Awareness Training, please contact June Howe at june.howe@penumbra.org.uk or southayrshire@penumbra.org.uk. Training is delivered via Teams and lasts approximately 2 hours. Leaflet is on the link below.
