The benches and bins on the promenade at Troon / Newton Shore need to be removed for the works to take place and re-sited once the works are complete. Benches to be moved on Saturday morning, there are 7 benches that require to be removed – we have approx. 70 benches on the promenade / Ballast Bank and therefore the removal of 7 should not cause any issues. Newton Shore has a small wooden bench on the slipway to the sea and that will be removed if necessary. Litterbins to be removed early Monday morning due to the Festival of Flight at the weekend.
It is estimated that the works will be complete within 1-2 weeks.
